Pet Amenities

The Golden Hotel is proud to be a pet-friendly hotel in Golden, Colorado. Of course – the hotel owners Samantha Lewis, a soft coated Wheaten Terrier and Francesca Lewis, a Maltipoo (known as Frankie and a rescue from Foothills Animal Shelter)  wouldn’t have it any other way!  You’ll occasionally see them at the hotel- just keeping an eye on us!

We have designated “pet friendly” rooms that include all of the same superior accommodations as our non-pet friendly rooms.

Four-legged friends will receive a pet welcome package including  an iconic classic red KONG dog toy,  two homemade biscuits with the recipe and gifts.  One gift bag is given per room.  Additional bags can be purchased at the front desk for $3.50.

The KONG Company, innovator of the iconic classic red KONG dog toy, is located right in our Colorado backyard.  Furry friends can enjoy the convenience of the Clear Creek Pathway- located directly outside of our hotel – a great place for them to stretch their legs, run and play.
