Adding just a few flowers made it even more beautiful. The staff was accommodating and helpful. The room that is provided to the Bride and Groom is VERY helpful for getting ready. “If you are looking for the perfect location for a Colorado vacation book your
stay at the Golden Hotel in Golden. This place bends over backwards to make
your stay a wonderful experience. The staff is friendly and accommodating to
all your needs. The location is perfect for long walks on Clear Creek, great
restaurants and downtown shopping. I have stayed here many times over the past
few years and wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else. Great value too!”

“I have traveled to Golden a few times before but never stayed at the Golden Hotel. This hotel wins my vote as best hotel in Golden. It is a very clean and comfortable hotel with big rooms. We had a beautiful view overlooking the creek. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The hotel is in a great location – walking distance from anything in town. It is a wonderful value. Sometimes it’s all the little things that add up to so much value and this hotel makes such an effort. Easy, free parking, water and cookies upon check in, dog friendly, a computer for guest use (with printer!), coffee available in the morning in your room or in the lobby, comfortable places to hang out throughout hotel. Comparatively speaking, I think this hotel is a far better value than others I have stayed at in Golden. I highly recommend The Golden Hotel for business or pleasure travelers.”

“On a whim, I booked a room at the Golden for a last minute get-away. So, I didn’t
have very concrete expectations about it. I was pleasantly surprised,
particularly for the value. The hotel itself has an historic feel to it, from the
lobby, to the fireplace, to the overall decor. My room was perfectly clean, and
the bed was very comfortable. The staff I had contact with were always helpful
and seemed generally happy to be there (and happy I was there). I will be
staying here again.”

“Great location – walk to Mines, downtown etc. Classy western decor, very very courteous staff. Comfortable room, beds etc. Didn’t eat at the restaurant but could smell delicious steak upon our arrival at 8pm. Plenty of parking.”

“This is a beautiful hotel. Check in was a breeze, with very polite staff. I was
given two homemade cookies (delicious) upon arrival. I stayed in a Creekside
Suite, with a separate living room furnished with a sofa and chairs and
fireplace. The bedroom was large and airy and the large bathroom was
well-appointed with walk-in shower, whirlpool bath and separate toilet. The
suite was nicely furnished and very clean. There was a beautiful view of the
creek and Castle Mountain. I would definitely stay here again – a great family
hotel in the pretty city of Golden.”

“Wow, we can’t say enough about this hotel. The
staff is AMAZING, each one of them was so so helpful in a very spectacular way.
We loved our room and the whole hotel is beautiful. For folks who travel a lot
and are picky, we can’t wait to come back here again. And this is my first
review, we liked it so much, we vowed we’d tell others. Beautiful, and make
sure to get the river view. And take a nice stroll on the river.”

“The hotel is situated on the banks of a creek running through the town. Walking distance to all facilities in the town of Golden. Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Delightful selection of food on the menu, outstanding food. Centrally located in one of Colorado’s most unique towns close to Denver.”

“Comfortable room, great location for meetings”

“I attended a 4 day conference at the Golden last week and my wife accompanied
me. The room was nice a nice size with a large desk/work area. There was also a
wet bar and small fridge. The decor was up to date and relaxing. The bed was
very comfortable with high quality linens.
We ordered room service and had the strip steak dinner and steakhouse burger.
Both were good but I really recommend the steakhouse burger! Also try their
house potato chips.
The hotel catered breakfast, lunch and snacks each day at our conference and
the overall quality and variety was excellent. I especially liked the chef’s
green chili served with breakfast. It was mild but full of flavor. I think I
saw a couple of awards in the lobby that he won in local chili competitions.
The lounge was a great place to hang out in the evenings. On Thursday night
there was a live jazz combo which I really enjoyed.
The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Golden and overlooks a creek and
park with a jogging trail. There are numerous restaurants and shops extending
for several blocks and all within walking distance.
Every interaction that I had with the staff was impressive. Everyone was
responsive and friendly and seemed glad to have us there.”

“Very cozy lobby fireplace and friendly front desk staff! Room was comfortable
and bed had several comfy pillows. We enjoyed our stay very much; location made
for an easy walk to any location. Dinner at their restaurant was deliciious
